Wooden Boat Festival Coming to Lake Union

What better place to be on the Fourth of July than on the shores of South Lake Union, watching hundreds of handmade wooden boats?
For the 35th year, Seattle’s Center for Wooden Boats is hosting the Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival on July 4th,
and everyone is welcome to the free event.
Not only will visitors get a chance to look at the boats, they can also hop in and take a ride around the lake.
If getting out onto the water isn’t your thing, organizers are also bringing in food vendors, live music and a pub.
The activities will get started at 10 a.m. and will run until 6 p.m. at 1010 Valley St.
