Office tower topping South Lake Union’s 1929 Firestone building

Last week we saw the latest plans for a Martin Selig project that was being reduced. To bring balance back to the Seattle real estate scene, now let’s look at a Martin Selig project that will be adding stories.

Martin Selig Real Estate filed plans for the old Firestone auto care center at 400 Westlake Avenue N. in South Lake Union and will present them to the design review board on December 14. The proposal will take the the 1929 structure and drop a 160-foot office tower right on top of it, so to speak.
