SEATTLE — In the middle of all the changes in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood, there was a meticulous process to resurrect a historic Seattle car dealership.

“It’s the Taj Mahal of all the car dealerships in the Seattle area,” said David O’Brien.

Not only did O’Brien work 20 years at Pacific Lincoln Mercury at the corner of Westlake and Mercer, but his father Michael owned the dealership for 27 years.

The building – and the Ford dealership next door – were both built in the 1920s.
