Residents: Alcohol-related problems plaguing Eastlake

A community group says there’s an alcohol problem in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle, and they’re looking to city officials to do more to stop it.

Eastlake is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, greatly affected by growth and growing pains.

“There’s a tendency for things like litter, public exposure, public urination, public defecation,” Chris Leman, Eastlake Community Council president said.
