Two patients were hit by a car in South Lake Union on Tuesday afternoon, causing serious injuries and a traffic blockage.
The collision occurred about 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Denny Way.Two men, ages 39 and 62, were thrown onto the windshield of a vehicle upon impact, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The details of the collision are unclear, including whether the pedestrians were in a crosswalk at the time of the crash.Medics took the men to Harborview Medical Center, where they were listed in serious condition. The incident blocked westbound traffic.
