2012 Census Bureau Data on Seattle: South Lake Union booming!

New 2012 American Community Survey statistics and infographics for the Seattle metropolitan area showing key changes in income and other social, economic and housing findings.

The release focuses on median household income, health insurance coverage and the poverty rate, but also provides statistics on educational attainment, housing and the foreign-born population. The profile compares the Seattle metro area with all U.S. metro areas.

Additional American Community Survey statistics for Seattle and other geographic areas with populations of 65,000 or more will be available on the Census Bureau’s American FactFinder website.
