Tighten your laces and get ready to walk for American Heart Association’s National Walking Day.
On April 4,Seattle Parks and Recreation is hosting walking events at 18 parks,including one that ends at South Lake Union Park. The 30 minute walk begins at the Parks Administration Building,at 100 Dexter Avenue North,at noon.
National Walking Day offers the opportunity to make a commitment to healthy living and fighting heart disease and stroke. Participation is free,and Parks staff will lead the walks.
